Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business in Redditch to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities in line with maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment availability and operational efficiency

\n

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production disruption

\n

• Undertake reactive maintenance and repair work across a variety of production machinery and plant equipment

\n

• Perform fault-finding activities using a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective long-term solutions

\n

• Maintain, repair, and improve both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

\n

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement projects and drive operational excellence

\n

• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and increase manufacturing efficiency

\n

We are keen to speak with experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with:

• Relevant engineering qualifications

\n

• A strong multi-skilled engineering background with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience

\n

• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a wide range of manufacturing equipment and automated machinery

\n

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, industrial, or heavy engineering environment

\n

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to maintenance, with the ability to work effectively under pressure

\n

• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to identifying root causes rather than temporary fixes

\n

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across departments

\n
