Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Poole

Job Description\n Multi-Skilled Engineer\n\n\n Location: Poole\n\n\n Salary: £51,800 per annum\n\n\n Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time\n\n\n Shift Pattern: Panama shift 12 hour days and nights\n\n\n\n\n We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.\n\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\n

• \n \n Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.\n

\n

• \n \n Ensure all engineering work meets safety, health, and environmental standards.\n

\n

• \n \n Support production teams with technical expertise to maintain efficient operations.\n

\n

• \n \n Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.\n

\n

• \n \n Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.\n

\n

• \n \n Follow engineering drawings and update documentation when necessary.\n

\n

• \n \n Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company procedures.\n

\n

\n\n Requirements:\n\n

\n
• \n \n Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 3).\n

\n

• \n \n Experience working in a maintenance/engineering role within a manufacturing setting.\n

\n

• \n \n Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.\n

\n

• \n \n Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.\n

\n

• \n \n Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment.\n

\n

\n\n Desirable Skills:\n\n

\n
• \n \n PLC knowledge (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi).\n

\n

• \n \n Experience with inverters, robotics, and safety regulations\n

\n
