About the Role\n
A well-established and growing manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
\n
Working on a continental 6-to-6 shift pattern, you'll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring the smooth operation of a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role would suit either a fully Multi-Skilled Engineer or an electrically biased engineer with approximately a 60/40 electrical to mechanical skill set.
Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance plant performance and reliability.
- Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company's maintenance system.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maximise equipment availability.

The Ideal Candidate\n
- \n
- Apprentice trained or qualified in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Multi-Skilled Engineer or electrically biased with around a 60/40 electrical/mechanical background.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with PLC fault finding would be advantageous.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
