Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in LS26

Location: West Yorkshire 
Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 
Shift: 3 Shift Pattern 
Contract: Permanent
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client at their busy distribution centre in West Yorkshire. 
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. 
 
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of machinery, including storage retrieval systems, conveyors, A frames, box erectors, totes, banding machinery to name a few.
 
Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime.
Carrying out fault-finding on motors, sensors, drives, control systems, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
Supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
Installing, modifying, and commissioning equipment where required.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing relevant documentation.
Working closely with production and other departments to resolve engineering issues.
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised engineering environment. Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

Minimum Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
Experience with fault finding, continuous improvements
Previous experience in a maintenance role within the Engineering & Manufacturing sector
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
