Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an engineering business in Derby to recruit Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
\n Location: Derby
\n Hours: Monday to Friday, Days Only (Flexible Hours Available)

We are seeking a proactive Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering site where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and work within a specialist maintenance team, supporting production operations and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities of the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

- Safe installation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
- Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment efficiently
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
- Assisting with safety testing and compliance activities
- Providing technical support and training to production teams

Skills & Experience Required
\n
- \n
- Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working with motors, drives, testing, and investigative maintenance work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control wiring diagrams
- PLC experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Hydraulic systems experience is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to maintenance
