Location: Ely
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ely. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically and mechanically skilled engineer looking for a stable role within a fast-paced production environment.
\n
You must live within a commutable distance to Ely and be comfortable working a double days rotating shift pattern.
\n\nThe Role\n
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving site machinery performance, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

Fault finding and repair on electrical and mechanical systems
\n
- \n
Maintenance of high-speed production machinery
\n
- \n
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns
\n
- \n
Electrical work including 3-phase motors, inverters, sensors, and control panels
\n
- \n
Mechanical work including bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics
\n
- \n
PLC fault diagnosis (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar)
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n\nExperience & Skills Required\n
- \n
- \n
Experience in FMCG or high-speed manufacturing environments ()
\n
- \n
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
\n
- \n
Working knowledge of PLC systems for diagnostics
\n
- \n
Experience maintaining die cutters, folder gluers, printers, stackers, or conveyors (advantageous)
\n
- \n
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC diagrams
\n
\n
\n

\n
\n
\n\nQualifications\n

- \n
Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering
\n
- \n
Relevant qualification: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BTEC (or equivalent)
\n
- \n
18th Edition or equivalent electrical certification (desirable)
\n
