About the Role
We're looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer to join the Maintenance team of a prestigious luxury retail and hospitality brand. This is a hands-on, mobile role supporting the smooth operation and visual excellence of multiple high-end locations across London.
You'll be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics are consistently met.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintain and repair building fabric: walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, and fixtures
Carry out basic HVAC maintenance (AHUs, FCUs) and plumbing tasks (leaks, taps, drains)
Support minor carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling, and general handyman duties
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Liaise with contractors and supervise specialist works
Keep accurate records of tasks and materials used
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal procedures
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a similar role within luxury retail, hospitality, or high-end commercial settings
Strong multi-trade skills with a focus on fabric maintenance and basic building services
Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic plumbing
Refrigeration experience is a strong advantage
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Confident working independently and managing time effectively
Professionalism and discretion in live retail environments
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, general maintenance)
Health & Safety certifications (e.g., IOSH, CSCS)
First Aid at Work ( but not essential)
