Multi-Skilled Engineer (Permanent) | Cambridgeshire | Days | £42K+ £3K Car Allowance



We’re hiring a permanent Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a dynamic team in Cambridgeshire. This is a day shift role offering £42,000+ with an additional £3,000 car allowance, focused on both mechanical and electrical systems across a diverse estate.



Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, boilers, pumps, and generators



*



Troubleshoot faults and carry out efficient corrective actions



*



Conduct preventive maintenance to maximise equipment performance and lifespan



*



Respond to emergency repairs swiftly to minimise downtime



*



Coordinate with contractors for upgrades, installations, and repairs



*



Maintain detailed records of maintenance, work orders, and system logs



*



Keep up with the latest trends and innovations in the engineering sector



*



Adhere to all health and safety regulations



*



Assist with project planning for system enhancements and upgrades



*



Provide technical support to other team members



*



Perform other duties as directed by management in line with the role



Knowledge and Skills Required:



*



NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (e.g., ONC, BTEC Level 3)



*



Recognised multi-skilled apprenticeship



*



Proven background in mechanical/electrical engineering, ideally in facilities or estate management



*



Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems



*



Skilled in fault diagnosis and problem resolution



*



Capable of managing preventive maintenance and handling multiple priorities effectively
