Job description\n\nKey Duties:\n\n * Carry out breakdown repairs to production equipment, plant, and services as requested.\n\n * Carrying out TPMs and ensuring documentation is completed.\n\n * Keep daily records of all work completed and all work pending.\n\n * Monitor stores stock and usage.\n\n * Always apply best practice operation maintaining high levels of health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.\n\n * Progress and complete project work on site.\n\nKey Skills & Experience Required:\n\n * Mechanical / Electrical Technician (60/40 ideally).\n\n * Have a minimum of 3 years' experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.\n\n * Proven mechanical skills with knowledge in the plastics / injection molding industry preferable.\n\n * H&S accreditation would be advantageous.\n\n * Hold a 18th Edition Certificate is but again not essential.\n\n * Understand and be able to read mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.\n\n * Be experienced in the use of PPM systems.\n\n * Work on their own initiative.\n\n * Work towards improved efficiency in the maintenance department.\n\n * Be an effective team player and possess excellent communication skills.\n\n * Must be willing to be flexible for the company and work occasional overtime shifts.\n\nThe Package:\n\n * Competitive salary\n\n * To work a 2-shift rotating pattern, 2 days / 2 nights per week (Mon - Fri)\n\n * Company pension scheme.\n\n * Holiday package.\n\n * Overtime.\n\n * Annual bonus potential.\n\n * Free on-site parking.\n\n * Courses to develop you to become a better technician.\n\n * Opportunity to travel to the USA and other parts of the world to our sister plants to help develop the business.\n\nDue to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK residing within the local area.
