Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Shift-Based Role\n\nThis role involves working a shift-based schedule on a 4-week cycle, including 12-hour shifts (2 days and 2 nights rotation). Shifts run from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be an essential part of the operations team, responsible for delivering effective and efficient maintenance to keep our manufacturing facility operational 24/7. Key tasks include:\n\nPerforming routine maintenance to ensure plant critical systems and equipment function optimally.\nEnhancing equipment performance and reliability through proactive maintenance and repair.\nConducting first-line fault finding and diagnostics.\nSupporting Operations Improvement and Transformation projects.\nWorking on a variety of manufacturing and utility systems to maintain high-quality standards for automotive products.\nQualifications\n\nBasic Requirements:\n\nProven experience in practical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.\nCompletion of an Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 3 or Certificate in an Electrical/Instrumentation discipline.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.\nStrong organizational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks in a busy environment.\nFamiliarity with computer-based maintenance planning systems.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nHNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.\nExperience with PLC systems, particularly Siemens.\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary up to £42k DOE, plus a shift allowance of £8,182.\nFidelity Pension.\nBUPA Private Medical.\nLife Assurance.\nEmployee Assistance Programme.\n25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.\nIf this position is of interest, please contact us today!
