Location: Runcorn
Rate of Pay: £45,000 per annum + overtime

Our client is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer with a strong Electrical bias to join their team at their Runcorn site. This is a permanent role offering stable hours, excellent overtime rates, and the opportunity to work within a supportive engineering environment.

The Role

• Electrical-focused role (75% Electrical / 25% Mechanical)

\n

• Installation, servicing, and maintenance of site equipment

\n

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical calculations

\n

• Completing risk assessments and ensuring works are carried out safely

\n

• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards

\n

• Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues

\n

• Attending and resolving breakdowns (overtime paid where required)

\n

Requirements

\n
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a multi‑skilled or electrical maintenance role

\n

• Strong working knowledge of electrical codes and standards

\n

• Proven analytical and fault‑finding skills

\n

• Domestic electrical qualifications and experience are highly desirable\n

\n

• Flexible approach with the ability to respond to breakdowns and call‑outs

\n

Working Hours & Overtime

\n
• Monday to Friday

\n

• \n08:30 – 16:30 (8‑hour shifts / 40 hours per week)

\n

• Overtime and emergency call‑outs required

\n

Overtime Rates:

\n
• Hours over 40 per week paid at time and a half\n

\n

• \nSunday call‑outs (day or night) paid at double time\n

\n

• Minimum 4‑hour call‑out payment (paid at time and a half)
