Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $35–$38/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time (shift may vary – days, nights, or rotating)
Location: Middle Georgia

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and electrical experience to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position is ideal for a candidate who can confidently work across multiple systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components, and who is committed to safety, efficiency, and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on production equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery and systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for basic troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Repair and maintain motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
• Install, test, and calibrate equipment and components as needed
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to reduce production downtime
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment )
• Strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience with troubleshooting 480V systems, motors, and control circuits
• Working knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics required
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field
• Experience with VFDs, sensors, and automation systems
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
