Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician - Lakewood, Ohio
Pay Range: $28.60-36.50/hr
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:45am-3:00pm; Weekends/On Call As Needed
*Applicants will need to complete the Ramsay Multi-Craft Maintenance Test
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team on 1st Shift. The primary function is to provide maintenance support for the site. This includes repair, troubleshooting, and maintaining a wide variety of industrial building, equipment and process systems including plumbing and electrical/mechanical maintenance.
Duties:
- Participate in daily maintenance crossover meetings to prioritize and assign work.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Perform test and inspect items per computer generated schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Repair of equipment breakdowns.
- Scheduled maintenance according to scheduled shutdowns.
- Orders parts from vendors.
- Work with schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot systems.
- Respond to building emergencies.
- Work with operators on process improvements and train operators on routine preventative maintenance.
- Support engineering projects including trials and installation.
- Design and build necessary parts.
- Coordinate with contractors as needed.
- Maintain good housekeeping in maintenance department and after completing jobs.
- Working in a safe manner and following all HS & EP regulations, policies and procedures including participation in First Responder training.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, with at least 5 years industrial electrical/mechanical maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems & controls.
- Mechanical machine repair experience.
- RSLogix 5, 500 and 5000 Software.
- Communication Protocols (RS232, Ethernet/IP, DH and DH+, ASI bus network)
- Knowledge of instrumentation theory (4-20 MA, 0-10 VDC, process scaling etc.)
- Knowledge of transducers and their operation (pressure, temperature, flow, distance, I/P etc.)
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Working knowledge of DC drives and AC frequency drives
- Working knowledge of PLC’s, preferably Allen Bradley
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., climb ladders, operate variety of hand tools, and operate a forklift
Working Conditions:
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending, twisting, stooping is required as part of this position.
- Majority of work is performed in the manufacturing area.
