Join REAL ALLOY, a leader in aluminum recycling with 17 plants across North America. Here, your electrical expertise directly supports sustainable manufacturing and the circular economy.

Role highlights

• Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures across plant facilities.
• Lay out and install conduits and pipes to protect electrical wires and cables.
• Keep work compliant with electrical codes; swap out conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers when required.
• Diagnose equipment issues quickly and perform repairs to return assets to proper operating condition.
• Interpret engineering drawings and manuals to install, calibrate, and maintain electrical apparatus; navigate complex engineering and manufacturing documentation to complete assignments.
• Service motors, wiring, and control cabinets, plus mobile equipment including forklifts, pay loaders, and skid steer loaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a trade profession or industrial maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated strength in troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Electrician license a plus; not required.
• vision sufficient to identify ‑coded wiring.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of basic computer functions and office software.
• Willingness to work overtime and take on-call rotations when needed.
• Advanced technical training (trade school or higher) and growth mindset.
