MTS PROCESS ENGINEER

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an MTS Process Engineer to join a semiconductor Fab Operations team in Chandler, Arizona. This position will focus on process engineering for innovative memory products and will be responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, troubleshooting process and equipment issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own assigned process modules, including day-to-day operations, process and equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and sustaining equipment to meet availability requirements.

• Develop solutions to technical and manufacturing problems using engineering principles, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving tools.

• Drive continuous improvements in quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability and capability, productivity, and safety.

• Support technology transfer and process matching with foundry partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline.

• Fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process flow and device physics.

• Working experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and statistical analysis software such as JMP.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Willingness and ability to learn and support multiple semiconductor process disciplines, including PVD, CVD, CMP, Etch, Lithography, and Metrology.

• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes such as Copper CMP and Oxide CMP is highly desirable.
