Molding Machine Operation with Hydraulic Press, manufacturing rubber/polymer parts for the Aerospace industry

A Molding Machine Operator at Jonal Laboratories observes the continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and detect jams or malfunctions, adjusting as necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Set up and operate molding machinery/hydraulic presses
2. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery
3. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
4. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the area of specialty
