We are seeking a full-time, Injection Mold Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and simple repairs to injection molds.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform tool cleaning which includes assembly and disassembly of high precision injection molds. (80%)
- Light maintenance and repairs to injection molds as instructed by senior technician. (5%)
- Diagnose and troubleshoots simple issues and repair of injection molds. (5%)
- Enter data into our ERP system (Plex) and shot count reports as needed to support documented procedures. (5%)
- Additional projects to support OptiMIM tooling, molding, and secondary operations departments as assigned by the Sr. Tool Room Supervisor. (5%)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude.
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to detect minor defects is a must.
- Must demonstrate ability to handle high-dollar injection mold components using best practice to avoid costly damage or injury.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Computer experience, basic Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions & schematics ().
- Understanding of micrometers and gauging ().
- Experience reading prints and drawings ().
- 6 months working in injection molding as an operator or technician strongly .
- Prior injection mold cleaning experience a plus.
- Experience in machining or as a CNC operator is a plus.
- Must be able to frequently stand and walk.
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work: Including hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, gloves, Other protective equipment as required.
- Work is in a manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles.

Shift & Schedule: Dayshift, Monday-Friday
