We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team based in Ridley Park, PA. This role supports the design and development of advanced aerospace and defense systems across a variety of programs including vertical lift platforms, fixed-wing aircraft, space systems, and other complex engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong systems engineering experience and the ability to work across disciplines to develop, analyze, and verify integrated system solutions throughout the product lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

• Apply an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to support analysis, design, development, and verification of complex systems and system-of-systems solutions.
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure integration across physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Perform analyses to optimize overall system architecture and performance.
• Assess system factors including affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, and system security.
• Support regulatory and certification requirements as part of the overall system development process.
• Develop and manage requirements processes including planning, implementation, monitoring, risk management, issue tracking, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo, MSOSA, or similar platforms.
• Experience using DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
