ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
John Hiester Automotive is currently seeking a full-time Mobile Service Technician to join our winning team! In this role, you will:
- Provide automotive maintenance and repair services
- Travel to customer locations to complete a variety of service tasks
- Perform maintenance, recalls, tire, brakes, etc.
- Inspect vehicles to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers
- Maintain tools, parts, and equipment inventory
- Stay current with industry standards and safety regulations
- Assist with additional tasks to support customers and the team

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- GM Certified Technician
- Must have a clean criminal background and pass pre-employment drug screen.
- An active and valid driver license and good driving record.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing with various levels of internal and external customers.
- Have strong organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented.
- Be self-motivated and able to accomplish tasks with little supervision.
- Obtain the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Must be comfortable sitting, standing and/or walking for long periods of time.
- Professional demeanor.
- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements.
SERVICE SCHEDULE
- Closed every Sunday
- Monday-Friday 7:30 am- 6:00 pm (Varies Per Store)
- Saturday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm (Varies Per Store)
- Working a Saturday is compensated by a day off the following week
