Mobile HVAC Engineer - Central London (Oxford Street Portfolio)\n Job Type: Full-time\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: Permanent\n Location: Central London (Oxford Street & nearby stores)\n Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)\n\nA leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Mobile HVAC Engineer to support a prestigious retail client across flagship stores in Central London. This role is accessible via public transport, with an Oyster card provided, and does not require driving.\n\nWhat does a Mobile HVAC Engineer role entail?\n\nDelivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of HVAC systems in busy retail environments.\nWorking independently and proactively to troubleshoot and fix issues efficiently.\nLiaising with clients on-site to ensure a high standard of service and smooth operations.\nTraveling between multiple high-profile retail locations across Oxford Street (East & West) and other nearby stores.Requirements for the Mobile HVAC Engineer role:\n\nMinimum 5 years' experience in HVAC maintenance.\nStrong experience with both PPM and reactive works.\nEither Refrigeration OR Commercial Gas qualification (essential).\nComfortable working in fast-paced retail environments.\nExcellent communication and client-facing skills.\nSelf-motivated, reliable, and willing to go above and beyond.\nMust live within 30 minutes of Oxford Street.Desirable (Not Essential):\n\nPrevious retail or commercial environment experience.\nExperience working in a mobile role across multiple sites.Benefits of the Mobile HVAC Engineer role:\n\nSalary up to £50,000 (depending on experience).\nOyster card provided.\nCompany phone and laptop.\n8:00am - 4:00pm working hours (flexible based on client needs).\nOvertime available (no call-out rota).\nWork across some of London's busiest and most recognisable retail locations.About us:\n Daniel Owen is an established recruitment consultancy specialising in the placement of high-quality temporary and permanent workers in all roles within the Built Environment.
