Job Description

Job Title – Mobile Engineer (Electrical)\n\nMy client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities management and they are recruiting for a Mobile Engineer to cover several established contracts around Northwest London / Watford area.\n\nAs a Mobile Technician, they will perform repairs and tend & maintain several buildings, commercial systems, equipment, and building services. They would be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.\n\n * Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.\n\n * Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.\n\n * Manage and track completion.\n\n * Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.\n\n * Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.\n\n * Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.\n\nPerson Specification / Education\n\n * Recognised or time-served apprenticeship\n\n * Strong background in commercial maintenance\n\n * Electrical qualifications (City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2-3, 18th Edition or equivalent)\n\n * Experience with 3-phase motors, drives, inverters\n\n * Experience working in FM/Building Services\n\n * Experience working in a similar role
