This company is seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join their facilities management team in Bridgewater. This position involves delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites across the South West region, with Bridgwater serving as the home base.
The engineer will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems and services are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently, supporting clients with a first-class FM service.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on a variety of commercial electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults and issues in a timely manner.
Undertake electrical testing, inspection, and certification in accordance with current regulations.
Provide support for minor installation works and project upgrades.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
Maintain accurate records and documentation through the company's CAFM system.
Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and site contacts.
About You
This company is looking for a skilled and proactive engineer who possesses:
Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification.
Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) is desirable.
Proven experience within a Facilities Management or Building Services environment.
A Full UK driving licence (a company van and fuel card are provided).
Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

The role is mobile across the South West, covering sites in Somerset, Devon, Dorset, and parts of Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Travel time is paid.
