Crane Operator
Location: Glendale, AZ
Pay Rate: $23-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Crane Operator / Material Handler (Scrap Recycling)

Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill a Crane Operator / Material Handler position with a scrap recycling facility located in the Phoenix area. This role has the potential to become a long-term, full-time opportunity for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate mobile and stationary shear cranes in a scrap recycling environment
• Safely operate CAT Material Handlers, Liebherr, and Sierra equipment
• Load, unload, sort, and move scrap materials efficiently and safely
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to support production goals

Requirements

• 5+ years of crane or heavy equipment operating experience
• Experience operating material handlers or shear equipment in a recycling, scrap, or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and equipment operation
• Ability to work long shifts and in outdoor conditions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
