MMA Welder

MMA Welder - Knockhill Bridge (Bridge of Allan) & Forth Road Bridge - £21 to £25 p/h

We are currently recruiting experienced MMA Welders for a short-term, site-based project working on major infrastructure across Scotland. This role involves structural welding on the underside of bridge structures, performing MMA welding on bridge support steel in challenging and safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MMA welding on bridge support steel structures

*

Work underneath bridge decks and in confined spaces

*

Ensure all welding is completed to safety and structural standards

*

Interpret and follow technical drawings and site instructions

*

Comply with all site-specific health and safety protocols

*

Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors

*

Report any hazards, defects, or incidents immediately

Requirements

*

Valid CSCS Card

*

Confined Space Certification (Essential)

*

Proven experience in MMA (stick) welding

*

Previous experience with bridge or structural steelwork ()

*

Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces

*

Strong knowledge of health and safety practices

*

Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
