Job Summary
To consistently repair and maintain vehicles in a manner that will instill in the customer a high sense of confidence in the technician, the service department, the dealership, and the brand.
Responsibilities
-
Testing to check whether systems and components are working properly
-
Isolating the systems or components that might have caused a problem.

Consulting with the Shop Foreman or Service Manager on all NPF situations
-
Driving the vehicle for testing purposes or using various equipment
-
Maintaining efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
-
Repairing or replacing worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
-
Following a checklist in ensuring that, they examine each critical part of the vehicle
-
Clearly recording the repairs that were needed, the work that was performed and conditions that could not be duplicated on the repair order.

Ability to clearly explain the value of keeping the vehicle serviced as needed
-
Meet or exceed the dealership’s requirements for a technician’s efficiency, productivity, and proficiency

Attend all required dealership and brand training sessions
-
Always speak in a positive manner when discussing BMW, MINI Cooper, the dealership, fellow employees, or dealership policies when communicating with the customer or their representatives.

Knows and follows all federal, state, and local laws that govern automobile repair
Minimum Requirements
-
Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
-
Clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality.

You must provide your own tools.

Valid Driver’s License (Required by all applicants)

Criminal Background Check

18 years or Older
-
Must have valid State Inspection and Emissions Licenses
-
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.

Able to effectively work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, atmosphere

Mature, honest, reliable, and credible. Demonstrating superior ethical standards
Qualifications
-
2+ years of Service Technician experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required
-
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
-
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
-
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
-
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve

Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
-
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
-
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
