Millwright- Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSkillforce is seeking skilled Millwrights for work in Warren, MI. Ideal candidates will have direct experience working previously as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
This position is crucial to our team. You will be troubleshooting and repairing the assembly cell in an automotive plant.
Millwright Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated assembly cells, including conveyors, robotic arms, and associated equipment.
- Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective and preventive maintenance solutions.
- Work with minimal supervision to diagnose mechanical issues and restore production in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Replace or repair worn or faulty parts such as gearboxes, bearings, shafts, motors, actuators, and pneumatics.
- Align and level machinery and ensure proper installation of components.
- Collaborate with electrical and controls technicians during troubleshooting and system upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and machine performance.
- Adhere to all plant safety procedures.
Millwright Requirements:
- Must have previous automotive plant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Millwright doing mechanical maintenance.
Location: Warren, MI
Pay:
- Up to $40/hr
- $100/day per diem paid on all 7 days (if traveling in)
Shift:
- Multiple shifts available. 8 hours or more per day, working 6-7 days a week. 56+ hours per week.
