Skillforce is seeking experienced Millwrights to support a high-volume automotive casting and machining plant near Wabash, IN. This is a hands-on role for skilled troubleshooters who enjoy mechanical work and keeping production equipment running efficiently. Pay is up to $40/hr + $125/day per diem for those that qualify! Candidates will be working up to 60+ hours a week for approximately 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, disassemble, repair, and reassemble plant machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Fabricate mechanical assemblies from raw materials
• Troubleshoot production casting and machining equipment
• Collaborate with production teams on quality and improvement projects
• Follow OSHA and plant safety standards
• Participate in training on new technologies and techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Millwright or Electro-Mechanical Technician in an automotive plant
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery
• Ability to read mechanical schematics and perform precision assembly
