MIG Welder / Fabricator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled MIG Welder to join our fabrication team. This role focuses on producing consistent, high-quality welds on repeatable parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on steel components to meet quality and production standards
• Read and interpret shop drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Maintain consistent, repeatable weld quality across production runs
• Set up and operate welding equipment and basic fabrication tools
• Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and structural integrity
• Assist with material handling, including operating a forklift when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience with MIG welding (production environment )
• Ability to produce clean, consistent welds at volume
• Basic understanding of blueprints and measurements
• Experience operating a forklift (or willingness to be trained)
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual

(not required but valuable):

• Experience with TIG welding
• Familiarity with metal fabrication (cutting, grinding, bending)
• Experience working with jigs/fixtures for repeatable parts

Work Environment & Safety:

• Industrial fabrication shop environment
• Must follow all PPE and safety protocols (helmet, gloves, eye/ear protection, etc.)
• Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace for yourself and others

Compensation:

• Competitive pay based on experience

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
