MIG Welder - Afternoon Shift\n Location: Outskirts of Leeds\n Hours:\n\nMon-Wed: 2:15pm - 12:30am\nThu: 2:15pm - 12:00am\n Pay: £15.29 per hour (DOE) + 25% shift allowanceThe Role:\n We are recruiting an experienced MIG Welder to work permanent afternoon shifts for a well-established engineering manufacturer. This role offers excellent pay enhancements and long-term career stability.\n\nKey Duties:\n\nMIG weld components to precise specifications\nWork from engineering drawings with accuracy\nConduct quality inspections on all completed welds\nMaintain welding equipment and tools\nComply with all health and safety protocolsRequirements:\n\nPrevious MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment\nCompetent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality\nAbility to work independently and to deadlines\nCurrent/previous coding to BS EN ISO 9606-1 - renewal support available (Desirable)Benefits:\n\n£15.29 per hour (DOE) + 25% shift allowance\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays (factory closure over Christmas)\n4%/4% pension, rising to 6% employer contribution after 12 months\nDeath in service cover x3 salary if in the pension scheme (or capped at £10k)
