MIG Welder

DC Personnel are recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a prestigious and well-established engineering company in Leicester.



This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a skilled welder looking to join a supportive workshop team producing bespoke mild steel components.



Location: Wigston, Leicester

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2pm – 10pm (40 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £13.65 – £14.65 per hour (Depending on experience)

Overtime: Paid at time and a half



The Role:



MIG welding and fabricating mild steel parts

Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality, custom-built products

Ensuring accuracy and quality to meet production specifications

Following workshop safety procedures and reporting any issues to the supervisor



What We're Looking For:



Minimum of 2 years’ MIG welding experience (required for top end of pay scale)

Proven background in steel fabrication and production welding

Comfortable working to tight tolerances

Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings ()

Strong communication and teamwork skills

NVQ Level 2 in Welding or equivalent qualification ()

Self-motivated and able to work independently
