Job Title: MIG Welder

Our client is a trusted name in high-quality, durable furniture solutions. They specialise in creating reliable, well-crafted furniture frames for a range of environments, with a focus on precision, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Job Summary:

They are looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join their production team following a retirement. In this role, you’ll be responsible in a team of 4 for welding tubular steel components to manufacture furniture frames to a high standard of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform MIG welding operations on mild steel tube to create furniture frames.

* Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

* Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using welding procedure specifications.

* Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety policies.

* Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in MIG welding, ideally in a manufacturing or furniture production setting.

* Ability to read technical drawings and work to precise measurements.

* Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

* Understanding of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work the specified hours.

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

(Fridays off — long weekends or overtime every week )

* Location : Hythe Kent CT21

* £27,788.80 plus overtime when available

* 4-day work week
