Middle Office Analyst - Oil

Job Description

A leading commodity trading firm is looking for a Middle Office Analyst with experience in the Oil markets to join their London team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce daily Profit & Loss (PnL) reports, including intraday estimates and end-of-day checks
• Validate and reconcile pricing data and T+1 actuals
• Work closely with teams such as Settlements, Treasury, Accounting, and Credit to resolve issues
• Provide support across a range of commodities, including oil, metals, and agricultural products
• Contribute to system development and improvement projects, including new product launches

What You’ll Need:

• 1-3 years of experience in a financial services or trading environment
• Strong knowledge of Oil P&L reporting
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, VBA)
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
• A collaborative approach and the ability to manage daily priorities effectively
