Strategic Risk Services LLC (SRS) is currently seeking a mid-level risk assessor to join our team. Minimum qualifications should include:

· Familiarity of various regulatory programs, including but not limited to:

    • Pennsylvania's Land Recycling Program,
    • Pennsylvania’s Underground Storage Tank Program,
    • West Virginia's Voluntary Remediation Program,
    • RCRA,
    • Superfund

· General capability of performing a risk assessment;

· Communication, writing, time management, budget tracking, and multi-tasking skills; and,

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe

The mid-level risk assessor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience completing human health and ecological risk assessments from project inception to site closure. The candidate must also possess the ability to develop complex conceptual site models and must be proficient in developing spreadsheets while working independently. The candidate will also be required to mentor junior staff members.

 

The position may be either remote or within our Bellefonte, PA office. The position will begin as part-time (4 days/week) with the goal to extend to full-time once the employee has shown the ability to fulfill the mid-level risk assessor duties to the satisfaction of the SRS staff.
