Role: Mid - Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer preferably with specialization in Amazon RDS, Postgresql, Linux Administration
Location 1: Seattle, WA (1 role)
Location 2: India (3 roles)
Work from home is a possibility to start wit for both locations
Duration: 6 Months (Client might offer fulltime after 6 Months)

Job Description:
Day to Day Responsibilities:
· Architecting the deployment of Windows and Linux environments in AWS, Azure and VMware (including VMware Cloud)
· Design Operating systems (Red Hat Linux and Windows) deployments and automation
· Work as part of a small architecture group within Infrastructure to review existing design and operation methodologies and take them and evolve them into a modern and sustainable architecture with full automation
· Cross train other Infrastructure and Cloud teams on the new architecture and automation to hand off the daily operations of the infrastructure and tooling
· Integrate to our automation team to work the automation projects that are identified with their agile methodologies
· Work to assess the daily operations of the infrastructure teams and look for opportunities to automate repetative processes
· Work on automating the daily operations including maintenance, provisioning, decommissioning etc • Work on maintaining an Infrastructure CMDB in our ServiceNow system
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of troubleshooting methodologies
• Strong automation skills, preferably with SaltStack and related technologies (Python, Terraform etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience provisioning environments in both public and private clouds – AWS, Azure, and VMware (Including VMware Cloud in AWS )
• Strong understanding of Windows domain services (including Active Directory, DNS etc) and LDAP technologies as well as other IAM best practices
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture processes and designs
• Strong understanding of ITILv3 processes
