We are seeking a Mid Level Civil Engineer for our Doylestown, PA office (open to a hybrid work-from-home schedule). This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with a strong desire to learn and develop in the environmental consulting business.


Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 1 year
  • 4 to 7 years of civil engineering experience
  • Work experience in the following is a plus:
  • Hydrology and hydraulics
  • Erosion and sediment controls
  • Stormwater management controls
  • Land Development/Site Design
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D


Applicable work experience for this role includes:

  • Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
  • Environmental Permitting (PA Chapter 102, 105)
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
  • Erosion and sediment control design
  • Stormwater management calculations
  • Post-Construction Stormwater Management BMP design
  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
  • Creating 3-D surfaces
  • Grading plans
  • Profiles/cross-sections
  • Pipe networks and corridors
  • Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
  • Ability to work with and guide Junior staff in the successful completion of tasks
