Job Description:
We are hiring a Microencapsulation Process Engineer to lead the development and optimization of microencapsulation processes for food-grade applications. This role involves designing, testing, and improving encapsulation systems to enhance the delivery and stability of active ingredients in food products. The engineer will work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to implement cutting-edge encapsulation technologies.
Responsibilities:

Design and optimize microencapsulation processes for various food ingredients.

Develop process parameters and protocols to ensure efficient encapsulation.

Collaborate with R&D teams to scale up encapsulation processes from lab to production.

Monitor and troubleshoot encapsulation equipment and processes.

Conduct trials to test the stability and performance of encapsulated products.

Ensure all processes comply with food safety and quality regulations.

Document process development activities and generate technical reports.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology/Engineering, Biology, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in food or pharmaceutical encapsulation.

Strong understanding of microencapsulation technologies and techniques.

Experience with process scale-up and equipment validation.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Work may involve exposure to chemicals and controlled environments.
- Standing for extended periods and operating heavy machinery may be required.
