Location: Garden Grove, CA
Shift: 1st
Pay: $32–$40 per hour DOE
A day in your role
When you power up your workstation on first shift, the microscope comes into focus, tweezers in hand, and precision takes over. You’ll assemble miniature electronic components on PCBs, place fine-pitch parts with steady control, and perform hand soldering that meets demanding IPC-A-610 Class 2 or Class 3 criteria. Your day moves between interpreting assembly drawings and schematics, executing meticulous builds, and verifying your work through in-process and final inspections. You’ll collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve any anomalies and continually refine how work gets done—all while following strict safety and quality procedures.
What you will do
- Build and rework PCB/electronic assemblies under a microscope using tweezers and precision tools
- Hand solder fine-pitch components and wires to boards and subassemblies
- Inspect work against IPC-A-610 Class 2 or Class 3 standards
- Read and apply assembly drawings, work instructions, and schematics
- Conduct in-process checks and final inspections for quality and compliance
- Partner with engineering and quality to troubleshoot and improve processes
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality protocols
What you bring
- 2+ years in micro-assembly or electronics manufacturing
- IPC-A-610 certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification
- Expertise in hand soldering and microscope work
- Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail
