Metrology Maintenance Technician

LA Semiconductor is looking for anMetrology Maintenance Technician for the Fab Support team. As a Fab Support Equipment Technician at LA Semiconductors' Pocatello 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment and sustain metrology equipment in the fab environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics on equipment to maintain and repair production equipment.
- Follow prescribed procedures for safety, clean room, and documentation.
- Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
- Identify gaps in institutional knowledge and documentation, collaborate with engineering management to identify a knowledge source and document it.
- Identifying and solving problems on a team level and independently.
- Assist in equipment installations, writing specifications/procedures, performing projects, and other tasks as assigned by the Manager and/or team.
- Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
- Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
- Provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring when the opportunity presents itself.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Ability and willingness to work in a cleanroom environment
- technical experience in metrology with mechanical and optics.
- Work in a team environment. Individuals must be self-motivated and able to interface effectively with other groups and maintain organization with ability to prioritize one's tasks.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude; this is required to learn/perform assigned maintenance tasks.
- Apply technical knowledge, training, and procedure comprehension to perform routine and sustaining maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures/specifications.
- Comprehend and solve basic electronics, mechanical, and mathematics problems.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal format.
Education Requirements:
- Associates degree or Certificate of Completion in Electronics, electro-mechanical, semiconductor technology, or another technical program.
- 2 years of applicable experience may be substituted for a degree. Semiconductor maintenance experience but not required.

Shifts:
Split shift to be agreed upon between either A/B or C/D
Shift A - Day Shift Sunday -Tuesday; Every other Wednesday; 6:45am-7pm
Shift C - Day Shift Thursday-Saturday; Every other Wednesday 6:45 am-7pm
Shift: B - Sunday-Tuesday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am
Shift D - Wednesday-Friday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am
