Casting Maintenance Manager

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Casting Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Department. This role is directly accountable for the Casting Maintenance groups and provides leadership to ensure plant reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.  

Supervisory/management experience in a unionized environment Experience in using an ERP database, Oracle experience is . 

Thorough knowledge of Extrusion and Casting processes and standard practices with experience in various technical assignments

Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Certified Excellent written and verbal communication skills High degree of people skills to motivate and influence stakeholders and employees. Thorough understanding of Maintenance and Engineering practices

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

· Lead and manage the Casting Maintenance Departments to support plant and corporate strategic objectives.

· Set expectations and provide direction for the maintenance workforce in a matrixed organization.

· Act as a change agent to increase proactive maintenance practices across operations.

· Optimize maintenance resources and maximize the use of the work order system.

· Develop and implement predictive maintenance, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

· Oversee control and capability of critical processes.

· Promote an incident-free workplace and help develop an interdependent safety culture.

· Drive strategic direction for casting maintenance and execute improvement plans.

· Lead efforts to optimize internal resources and improve overall casting OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).

· Identify, recruit, train, appraise, and develop maintenance resources.

· Communicate and present effectively to all levels of the organization.

· Foster and lead team-based problem solving throughout the facility.

· Manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Required:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

· Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience with a strong technical background.

· Demonstrated ability to deploy and maintain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

· Must be a U.S. , lawful permanent , or otherwise eligible to access controlled technology under ITAR/EAR.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).

:

· MBA or equivalent.

· 10–15 years of maintenance experience with supervisory/management responsibility.

· Molten metal/casting experience.

· Supervisory/management experience in a unionized environment.

· ERP system knowledge (Oracle ).

· Strong knowledge of extrusion and casting processes, technical assignments, and maintenance practices.

· Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· High degree of leadership and people skills to motivate and influence employees and stakeholders.
