MEP Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned MEP Project Manager to support the construction of a high-value, large-scale advanced manufacturing facility located in Charlotte, NC. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within industrial environments, along with experience managing project schedules, coordination, and quality across MEP trades.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep field knowledge, strong technical insight, and a passion for driving execution in complex, fast-moving settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all MEP systems throughout planning, design, and construction phases
• Coordinate closely with design teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and technical requirements
• Lead weekly MEP coordination meetings and resolve issues in the field in real-time
• Review and validate submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings with an eye for constructability and quality
• Monitor MEP installation progress against schedule and work proactively to mitigate delays
• Support commissioning and turnover planning in collaboration with QA/QC and Cx teams
• Ensure compliance with all safety, code, and client-specific requirements
  

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in MEP construction, with at least 3+ years in a project management or lead coordination role
• Strong familiarity with large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects
• Proven ability to lead field teams and subcontractors through complex MEP execution
• In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, and fire protection
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and Microsoft Project

Salary: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
