MEP Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Denver, Colorado
Compensation: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour

The Building Maintenance Technician is essential in ensuring our facilities remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained. From preventative maintenance and inspections to troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems, this role supports a reliable and comfortable environment for all employees.

Working both independently and as part of a team, you will respond to maintenance requests, resolve facility issues quickly, and assist with ongoing improvements. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical know-how, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance on building systems and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment including presses, conveyors, pumps, compressors, welders, saws, forklifts, and other machinery.

  • Inspect, repair, or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, and motor starters.

  • Complete work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments.

  • Safely set up and operate tools and equipment including welders, grinders, drill presses, and other metalworking machinery.

  • Assist with fabrication and modification of equipment.

  • Support facility upkeep including groundskeeping, carpentry, masonry, and snow removal.

  • Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in maintenance or related field.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Skilled with hand and power tools; ability to dismantle and repair machines and equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and safety.

  • Professional attitude and presentation.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Demonstrated technical skills and judgment to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
