MEP Engineering Manager

We have also diversified into renewable energy, smart grid and digital solutions to cater to the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders Job Summary: The MEP Engineering Manager will lead and manage the HVAC/FPS engineering team, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, Fire Protection system, Fire Detection system. This role involves coordinating projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering innovation within the team. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, technical expertise in HVAC/FPS engineering, and a proven track record in project management. HVAC Design/ Engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects is preferred. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the HVAC/FPS engineering team, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals. Oversee the design and development of HVAC/FPS systems, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HVAC/FPS solutions into overall project plans. Review technical specifications and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices. Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for HVAC/FPS engineering projects. Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the team. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development within the team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree is a plus. 15 to 18 years experience in HVAC/FPS engineering with a focus on project management. Middle East/ International Oil & Gas Projects experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Project management experience, including budgeting and resource allocation. Familiarity with relevant software(HAP etc.) and tools used in HVAC engineering. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. Experience in BIM environment, REVIT, AUTOCAD etc.
