Who you are

As a Membership Operations Manager, you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. You’re energized by coaching a team, creating a culture of accountability, and driving membership growth through daily execution.

This isn’t a strategy-only sales role — it’s a boots-on-the-ground position where you lead from the front, set the tone for guest service, and deliver real-time impact on membership outcomes.

What you’ll do

Team Leadership & Development

  • Model the energy, professionalism, and focus you expect from your team

  • Act as the go-to leader when things get busy — solve problems quickly and effectively

  • Set the tone for team culture, pace, and consistency through Golf Ranch’s core values

  • Provide hands-on coaching every shift -- training, redirecting, and recognizing in the moment

  • Own the new hire training process: onboarding, shadow shifts, and expectation-setting

  • Give direct, timely feedback and build a culture where coaching is ongoing, not occasional

Membership Growth & Retention

  • Empower your team to confidently pitch Ranch Pass memberships with clarity and enthusiasm

  • Ensure every guest is offered the opportunity to join — no missed conversations, no missed leads

  • Oversee all aspects of Ranch Pass, including coaching, communication, retention, and satisfaction

  • Use performance data to identify opportunities, celebrate top performers, and refine execution

  • Hold the team accountable to sales process execution, converting guest interactions into lasting value

Guest Experience & Service

  • Ensure every detail is executed with precision — from guest profiles to payments, upgrades, and cancellations

  • Maintain SOPs and daily checklists to keep standards tight and consistent

  • Resolve issues quickly to prevent disruptions and protect the guest experience

  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and high-functioning environment that reflects brand standards

Operations & Site Excellence

  • Oversee sales counter operations, ensuring accuracy in payments, upgrades, and membership transactions

  • Train team members on Golf Ranch systems, checklists, and SOPs, and hold them accountable

  • Troubleshoot challenges in real time, from tech issues to high-traffic guest rushes, ensuring smooth operations at all times

What you’ll need

  • 1–2 years of leadership or management experience

  • Food Handler’s Permit and TABC Certification

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with both guests and team members

  • Proven ability to coach others, drive performance, and hold a team accountable

  • Comfortable with sales and hospitality operations

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly

  • Tech confidence with POS systems, dashboards, and guest profiles

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak traffic periods

Bonus Points

  • Experience in golf, food & beverage, or entertainment industries

  • Familiarity with sales coaching and membership-based models

  • Knowledge of local markets and guest demographics

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand, and interact with guests for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, and set up items weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, including outdoors in varying weather conditions
