Position Title: Laboratory Medical Technician 

Location: Claremore, OK

Pay: $40/hr. (Stipends applicable for travellers)

Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension

Schedule: 4*10s / 5*8s available between Monday - Friday, no weekends

Summary: Seeking an experienced Laboratory Medical Technician to support one of our facilities while performing a wide range of diagnostic testing and laboratory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Blood Bank and Pediatric laboratory procedures, with experience in Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis in compliance with established standards and procedures.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers.

• Conduct Blood Bank testing and support pediatric laboratory procedures.

• Record and interpret results accurately, ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support patient care.

• Maintain laboratory safety standards, ensure equipment calibration, and manage inventory.

• Support additional laboratory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical laboratory experience required

• Registered Laboratory Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT)

• Blood Bank and Pediatric specimens experience required

• Current AHA BLS certification required

• Experience with Cerner Millennium EMR and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzers

• Phlebotomy skills , but not required.
