Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our pediatric team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests, including blood draws, urinalysis, and other specimen collections
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Process and document laboratory results, communicating findings to healthcare providers.
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood
• Draws blood samples as requested by physician orders
• Maintains a specimen log to ensure all results have been received by the physician in a timely fashion
• Pediatric vaccine administration a must

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Experience in a pediatric or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Bilingual
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Full-time position
