At our site in Amerang you will find both as Mechatronics Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) for Thermal and Wiring System DesignYour ResponsibilitiesAs a part of the Hardware Development team you develop innovative cooling and wiring designsDevelop, simulate, and evaluate board-level cooling components such as heatsinks, heatpipes, and thermal interface materials to boost the performance of high-power instrumentsPerform heat transfer simulations for complex electrical components and PCBsDesign, simulate, and assess high-density wiring systems capable of handling high currents or high voltagesBuild and test lab prototypes, including conducting detailed characterization measurementsWork closely with contract manufacturers and supply chain on rollout and supportYour QualificationsA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalentSolid knowledge of electronic and mechanical design and simulationBasic experience with thermal simulation toolsExperience in CAD design software, preferably with parametric design tools such as SolidWorks or Siemens NXPractical experience in heatsink or cable development as well as manufacturing supportBusiness fluent German and fluent English communication skillsA proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for working collaboratively in a teamOur offerFlexibilityBenefitsDevelopmentFitnessSecurityFlexible and trust-based working hours, 30 vacation days + option for additional vacation days, mobile working, individual part-time models and programs for extended periods of absenceAttractive salary, share in Advantest´s success through our exceptionally appealing bonus program as well as numerous subsidies, discounts and offerings (e.g.
