\n\nJob Description: \nWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our client’s workshop. You will oversee daily operations, staff, and compliance in automotive vehicle settings. You will lead a skilled team of technicians and administrative staff, ensuring the smooth running of the workshop while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage the day-to-day running of the workshop, including scheduling, task allocation, and productivity monitoring\nLead, coach, and motivate the workshop team to achieve performance targets and quality standards\nOversee vehicle repair processes, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and customer expectations\nMaintain accurate reporting on workshop throughput, KPIs, and performance\nEnsure compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and customers\nOversee stock, parts ordering, and supplier negotiations to optimise costs and availability\nDrive continuous improvement, implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and service deliver\nQualification and Experience:\n\nProven experience as a Mechanical Workshop Manager within the automotive repair industry\nStrong technical background with recognised qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, ATA or equivalent) desirable\nDemonstrated ability to manage and motivate a multi-skilled team\nExperience with estimating systems and workshop management software\nFull UK / EU driving licence required\nSkills Requirements:\n\nStrong time management skills.\nGood communication skills and a professional approach.\nAwareness of health and safety procedures.\nFlexibility to adapt to changing workloads in a fast-paced environment.\nHow to Apply: \nIf you would like to be considered for this opportunity, we want to hear from you!
