Job Description

ROLE – Mechanical Technician \n\nLOCATION - Reading\n\nTERM - Permanent\n\nSALARY- £28,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience\n\nMy client designs and manufactures bespoke products in the Motorsport industry, and they are looking to take on a Mechanical Technician. This is a permanent position, based in Reading.\n\nThe Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nExperienced working in a workshop environment\nMechanical Assembly and Process skills\nExperience working with precision equipment, metallics and small fabrications\nAble to read and work to Engineering drawings\nKeen interest in Motorsport and Automotive industries\nKnowledge of pipes, tubes, hoses, valves, pumps and similar equipment would be beneficial\nMechanical background in a workshop environment\nExcellent communication skills and attention to detail\nTeam player \n\n The Mechanical Technician role will involve:\n\nMechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment\nWorking with pipe bending machinery\nWorking to project specifications and deadlines\nParticipating in technical training\nWorking to procedures and instructions\nCommunicating with different departments to resolve technical issues \n\n If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
