Mechanical Technician (Contract – 6 Months)\nLocation: Remote \nHours: 35 per week\nRate: £24.33 per hour\n\n We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to support the delivery of mechanical projects and maintenance programmes across a varied property portfolio.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nDeliver and coordinate mechanical projects from planning through to completion\nManage contractors, ensuring works meet compliance, quality, and health & safety standards\nCarry out site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments\nSupport statutory compliance programmes (including water hygiene/legionella, gas safety, and mechanical systems)\nPrepare specifications, tender documentation, and project reports\nMonitor budgets, track project progress, and manage contract performance\nProvide technical advice and support to stakeholders and respond to emergency situations when requiredRequirements:\n\nHNC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience\nProven experience delivering mechanical projects (maintenance and new works)\nStrong knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance, including legionella control\nExperience managing contractors and contracts\nGood IT skills (MS Office)\nStrong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skillsDesirable:\n\nNEBOSH or other health & safety qualification\nExperience with asset management systems\nMembership of a relevant professional body (e.g. CIBSE)This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team delivering essential mechanical services across a diverse estate.\n\n To apply or find out more, please get in touch
