Job Description
As part of the Global Indirect Procurement Team, we offer you an exciting and responsible role in a globally operating functional area. Responsibilities:
- Global/ Local Category Management in the technical area (Capex, MRO, etc). Experience in other areas is desirable but not a requirement
- Independent procurement of (turnkey) production equipment and its maintenance services including MRO
- Responsible of all procurement relevant processes and project tasks in project procurement in the assigned area in a global environment (e.g. supplier pre-selection, cost analysis, contract negotiations, etc) including coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders
- Creation and Implementation of global category and supplier strategies
- Perform market analysis in assigned category, supplier selection and risk management
- Identify and implement potential synergies and measures to achieve savings and cost avoidance targets
- Negotiating and establishing Frame agreements with domestic and global suppliers
- Supplier Onboarding and phase-out
- Regular internal reporting focused on Projects, Cost Savings and Cost avoidance etc.
Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical technician or several years of professional experience in the field of technical purchasing/materials management of Machinery and services or comparable qualification
